Art Leaders

We are very excited to share this latest leadership role with you.

Our Year 6 Art Leaders are a valuable part of the art department and school - they are responsible for a wide range of duties including:

• raising the status of art throughout the school and wider community
• promoting creativity
• peer education
• building confidence where necessary
• encouraging others to respect resources and art space
• acting as consultants to ensure a collaborative and engaging art curriculum

In addition, we ask Art Buddies to support teaching and learning in years 3 - 5 and practise their leadership skills as they progress through the school.
